Weekly cleaning
£24per cleaner-hour
3 hours minimum · £72 daytime basePlan weekly cleaningExplain what left the home needing cleaning, especially if decorating or other works have recently finished. Ordinary household residue and completed-works dust may need different service, equipment and labour. For an Old Kent Road enquiry, Local House Cleaners can assess the actual selected rooms and safe readiness before proposing suitable cover and a complete price. The useful request identifies surfaces, materials and the result wanted, rather than assumes every condition fits an ordinary minimum. Keep contractor clearance, repairs and household storage decisions distinct so the cleaner has practical accepted work ready when the visit begins.

Tell the agency whether the request follows ordinary household use, a pause in cleaning, decorating or a larger finished project. Give the selected rooms and residue rather than choose a label on its own. A one-off domestic request, deep clean and completed-works after-builders service have different purposes and minima. The agency needs the actual condition to assess which proposal is appropriate, with enough suitable labour for the result you want.
Name the useful finish. You might want suitable cleaning of reachable surfaces and floors after a room has been prepared, or concentrated kitchen and bathroom care alongside selected dusting. A whole-home instruction can hide very different quantities. Choose which rooms matter and which remain private. The household can buy a limited coherent result instead of expect any amount of residue in every area to fit the smallest labour example.
Southwark Council's location submission identifies the Old Kent Road area through SE1 and SE15. These provide representative outward districts, not a precise boundary for every private address. Give the complete home address and postcode, with relevant building or flat detail and the actual entrance. The road name does not establish the property's condition, recent work or cleaner availability; those facts need to come from your specific enquiry.
State any deadline without treating it as a completion guarantee. A room may be needed before a delivery or the household may return on a certain day. Suitable cover, labour and readiness must still fit the available window. If the full work cannot be represented realistically, consider another time or a smaller ready selection before acceptance. The cleaner should not be expected to compress several stages because the urgency was stronger than the information provided.
Prioritise the accepted results. If suitable kitchen surfaces and the bathroom matter most, say whether another shelf or floor section can wait if more labour is needed. The agency can assess that choice before the visit is accepted. A clear order helps the household judge the proposal by meaningful work and prevents an optional detail using time that was intended for the room that prompted the enquiry.
Tell the agency if the condition changes between the enquiry and intended attendance. A newly finished room, extra residue or another trade returning can alter the suitable task and working route. The accepted proposal should reflect what will actually be ready, rather than remain attached to an earlier description after circumstances have changed. Reassessment can protect the household's main result from an unsuitable unchanged plan.
Describe preparation accurately. Available floors and reachable units differ from rooms still filled with furniture, boxes or supplies. Say what the household or responsible trade will make ready and what remains excluded. Cleaning should not silently include heavy moving, extensive clearance or deciding what to discard. A finite available task can still be useful while another area waits for its appropriate preparation.
If works occurred, explain what has finished and whether any trade will return during the proposed attendance. Tools, materials and an unfinished route are relevant facts. A safely ready property is different from an active construction area. The cleaner should not have to make incomplete electrical, structural or other work safe before reaching accepted surfaces. Cleaning does not replace the responsible trade's completion and readiness duties.
Contractor waste is different from ordinary cleaning waste. Explain what debris and materials will be removed beforehand and identify a suitable household destination for waste produced by the accepted clean. Heavy clearance, unidentified contents and hazardous material require separate consideration. A completed-works request should not depend on a removal stage nobody disclosed when labour was proposed, leaving the main surfaces inaccessible after the cleaner arrives.
New or recently treated surfaces need relevant care information. Give any manufacturer or contractor restrictions available for flooring, paint, sealant or fittings. Looking complete does not establish that every method is suitable immediately. If readiness is uncertain, say so. Suitable work can be assessed on sound available material while another surface waits, rather than expect cleaning to accelerate curing or ignore instructions because the household wants the room finished by a fixed time.
Explain persistent paint, adhesive, grout or other marks separately from loose residue. Removal may need a different assessment and can be inappropriate for an uncertain finish. The cleaner should not scrape or use stronger treatment on an unassessed assumption. Ordinary suitable cleaning, specialist removal and repair are distinct responses. A practical proposal identifies accepted work and any limit, giving the household an honest result to consider rather than a universal restoration promise.
If part of the home remains unavailable, describe the separation and route to a ready selection. The agency can consider whether a useful limited visit is practical. An apparently finished room may still depend on crossing another unready area. Do not leave that route unmentioned. The cleaner needs appropriate authorised access and ready work, not a choice between an undisclosed obstacle and a different task improvised without the household's agreement.
Make the person providing entry aware of the accepted ready rooms. A contractor or household representative should not independently extend the cleaning into another area because work has just finished there. Any additional task needs its own scope, time and charge agreed beforehand, subject to availability. Consistent instructions help the cleaner preserve the result the household originally chose.
A focused photograph may help show residue, material or access. Exclude people, documents, screens, keys and security information, and explain the requested result in words. An image cannot establish every care requirement or authorise handling everything visible. The agency can use supporting information to assess service and labour while preserving the need to consider uncertain residue and suitable safe readiness before a treatment is accepted.

Choose whether unaffected rooms are included too. A household may want ordinary bathroom care beside concentrated work in a prepared room, while leaving another area private. Describe each selection on its own condition rather than let the most affected corner stand in for the entire property. This gives the agency a clearer basis for the appropriate combination and complete labour.
List the reachable surfaces wanted by room, such as prepared shelves, windowsills, suitable unit exteriors or selected woodwork. Explain quantity, condition and material. A clear sound surface differs from a display covered in delicate objects. You can put fragile pieces away or keep the section private. A finite useful selection can receive suitable care without every possession becoming part of the task because the cleaner has entered the room.
Cleaning an exterior does not imply opening drawers, reading papers or reorganising contents. Give a sensible accessible destination for any ordinary small-item movement agreed. The household retains decisions about ownership and disposal. An available surface should not depend on an unmentioned sorting exercise. Accurate preparation lets paid labour go towards the material care you wanted while another stored section remains outside scope.
For floors, identify the actual materials and accessible sections. Hard surfaces, carpet and loose rugs may need different appropriate care. State damaged edges, persistent marks and relevant restrictions. Cleaning is different from restoration or specialist stain treatment. A worn finish may remain visible after suitable ordinary work, and the cleaner should not experiment with an aggressive method merely because the floor is the main priority.
Describe the route through any affected and unaffected areas as well as the surfaces wanted. If a hallway or stairs need cleaning in their own right, identify that work and material expressly. The path to a prepared room may otherwise be access only. Explain deliveries or household traffic that could conflict with final floor care. Suitable mopped surfaces need appropriate time before use, with no universal drying-time guarantee. The agency can consider a sensible order, rather than assume the cleaner can finish every connecting section while it remains continuously crossed.
Include hallways and stairs expressly where their cleaning is wanted, while describing their access role in any case. The layout affects how suitable equipment reaches the selected work and how attendance can finish. Suitable mopped surfaces may need time before ordinary traffic, with no universal drying-time guarantee. Explain household use or deliveries so a practical sequence can be considered rather than assume all connecting surfaces can be treated simultaneously.
Unsafe high reach and unfamiliar dismantling require separate assessment. The fact that a fitting is dusty does not make improvised climbing appropriate. A smaller available selection can still deliver a worthwhile result while another area waits for suitable access. The agency should know the real limitation early enough to propose useful work, instead of leave the cleaner to decide between an unaccepted method and an unreachable main task.

For the kitchen, select suitable worktops, sink, accessible hob exterior and any cupboard fronts wanted. Give materials, residue and quantity. A finite prepared group can be useful without every interior. Put food and private belongings away from selected surfaces where practical. Ordinary small-item handling needs an agreed destination, while decisions about supplies and disposal remain with the household rather than become preparation duties hidden in a room label.
If washing up is included, describe a finite quantity and appropriate facilities. Explain special-care pieces and make sharp objects safely visible. State whether clean items remain on a rack or go to an accessible agreed cupboard. Hands-on dish work uses time beside the sink, surfaces and floor. Decide its importance before acceptance rather than allow an unlimited pile to replace labour the household expected to go to the concentrated work.
Appliance and cupboard interiors need specific requests with condition, quantity and preparation. Fridge contents require household decisions, while faults, unfamiliar detachable parts and repairs are distinct matters. Empty shelf care differs from sorting and replacing all contents. A suitable available exterior can remain in the selection while another item receives assessment. The cleaner should not commission equipment or discard food to make an undefined kitchen instruction appear complete.
For bathrooms, list selected fittings and number of rooms. A bath, separate shower, basin and toilet create actual work regardless of floor area. Give deposits and care restrictions. The agency can assess appropriate methods and labour from this real selection. An early return-home deadline should not cause several fittings to be treated as a quick final addition after other surfaces have consumed the allowance.
Disclose leaks, loose fittings, failed seals and significant mould concerns. Cleaning is different from repair and offers no universal health guarantee. Prepare toiletries and medicines away from selected surfaces where practical, retaining private storage choices. State ordinary towel, bathmat and bin tasks with their destinations. The household can receive useful fitting care without a promise to correct every defect or complete an unassessed textile sequence.
A selected bed change needs the bed size, complete correctly sized ready clean set and used-linen destination. Explain access around the frame. Washing, drying, folding and ironing are separate stages if requested, with finite quantities and suitable arrangements. Machine cycles may outlast attendance and need household takeover, rather than automatic overtime. The cleaner should not search private storage for missing pieces or assume every fabric in a room needs handling.
Ironing requires ready suitable garments, care labels and appropriate equipment with a safe stable setup. Agree cable route, cooling provision and hanging or folding finish. No fixed quantity per hour is guaranteed. Hands-on labour uses the booked allowance and should be balanced against room cleaning before acceptance. A finite prepared group can be useful without every basket becoming a further task at the end of a visit whose main purpose was different.
Internal-window quotations start from £45 for assessed work, with panes, frames, condition and safe access described. No universal £85 minimum applies to that category. Exterior work, unsafe reach and fitted obstructions require separate consideration. Paint or adhesive should be identified specifically rather than assumed ordinary glass residue. The full quote should represent the actual useful selection and appropriate method, not an unlimited promise about every pane.
Standalone ovens start at £65 single, £90 double and £130 range following assessment. Standalone appliance or fabric work has an £85 minimum for that service, not an £85 addition to the item price. Give the actual item and condition. If one oven is already included within a defined assessed empty-property tenancy or move-in scope, do not add a duplicate charge for that same task.
The empty-property scope also includes empty cupboard interiors and accessible internal windows. Describe actual possessions and readiness before selecting it. An occupied home after decorating is not automatically the same request as an empty property at a move. The agency needs the real condition and intended finish to assess appropriate work and a complete proposal, keeping included tasks and separately requested extras clear.

Completed-works after-builders cleaning is £38 per cleaner-hour with five hours minimum per cleaner. One cleaner working five hours has a £190 standard daytime base; two cleaners each working five hours provide ten cleaner-hours and a £380 base. These examples explain labour, not a fixed price for any project. The affected rooms, residue, material and safe readiness determine the suitable proposal the agency can assess.
Deep cleaning is £35 per cleaner-hour with four hours minimum per cleaner. Weekly domestic cleaning is £24, fortnightly £26 and one-off £28 per cleaner-hour, each with three hours minimum per cleaner. Two cleaners each working three one-off hours provide six cleaner-hours and a £168 daytime base. Two people working two hours each does not meet a regular three-hour minimum. Suitable cover and task division still need assessment.
Defined assessed empty-property tenancy or move-in cleaning starts at £189 for a studio or one-bedroom property, £269 for two bedrooms and £329 for three or more bedrooms or a house. An additional bathroom starts from £40 after assessment. Check the complete accepted scope, readiness and inclusions before comparing this with an hourly domestic or completed-works visit. Different service starting figures do not describe one interchangeable whole-home purchase.
The earliest start is 6am and latest finish 10pm. Only the 6am–8am and 8pm–10pm portions carry £5 per affected cleaner-hour. Suitable accepted next-day priority adds 75%, subject to cover, with no instant same-day service. Actual 25 December uses twice the base rate and other applicable official UK bank holidays 1.5 times. Apply the highest holiday multiplier once and timing additions separately. Obtain the full relevant total for the chosen service, date and duration.
The minimum top-up is £35, while available funds must cover the entire accepted reservation. Funding alone does not confirm attendance or authorise extra work. Any added task, time and charge require agreement before work begins, subject to availability. If completion of a trade changes the cleaning readiness, contact the agency promptly for a suitable revised arrangement rather than assume the original reservation follows any later project schedule automatically.
The agency verifies and approves a cleaner before accepting work, considering suitable skills, coverage and availability. Agree private authorised entry and equipment for the actual service. Recurring households provide a safe usable vacuum, mop and bucket, while the company supplies approved products, cloths and protective equipment. Ordinary domestic tools should not be assumed suitable for every works residue. Share material and condition information early so the proposed work has appropriate means available.
After the initial work, an ongoing request can have a different purpose. The household may want the main kitchen and bathroom maintained while occasional prepared detail is considered separately. It need not carry every project-related surface into a permanent list. Discuss that routine from the actual condition after the first visit, with suitable scope, labour and full price understood before the next accepted arrangement.
For Old Kent Road cleaning, send the full private address and explain what caused the residue, what is finished and which rooms are ready. Add the desired result and timing so the agency can assess a suitable complete proposal before acceptance. The handover should distinguish addressed work from unavailable areas, defects and matters needing specialist assessment. Raise concerns promptly, within 48 hours where possible; statutory rights remain unaffected. Keep useful photos focused and omit people, documents, screens, keys and security details. The cleaning visit is an accepted domestic task, not a sign-off of every contractor's work.

Describe the actual residue, finished condition and selected work. The agency assesses an appropriate service and labour. Ordinary domestic cleaning, deep cleaning and completed-works after-builders work have different scopes and minima; the event label alone does not settle the proposal.
Do not assume clearance is included. Explain remaining materials and waste before acceptance. Heavy removal, hazardous contents and active work need separate consideration. The cleaner requires suitable safe access to the selected surfaces rather than an unmentioned preparation project.
No universal removal promise applies. State the residue, surface, cause and previous treatment where known. Suitable cleaning, specialist removal and repair are different responses. An uncertain item needs assessment before a method is accepted.
